I honestly don't like it, especially if it came from a woman I liked when I was dating. When being called cute by the older women of my family it sticks with you and ruins the term. Cute doesn't sound respectable or competent. Cute sounds childish or something to protect and gush over, something not to be taken seriously. It was always a mood killer from women because it was always associated with being called that by family members and that gave me the inclination that is all I would ever be to her, and not anything more.
I know this comes off as childish and ridiculous, but if I were to be real, I would rather have been called handsome, sexy or hot by women I liked.
Initially.. and I know many guys do as well..
Dislike the Word cute because it makes some feel as if we're being belittled or compared to a child.. like "awww you poor thing"
But I'm over it. Now it's just a compliment. More. Give men more validation. Especially if they are a bit shy or insecure.
I like calling my male best friend cuteee, even if he doesn't believe me, I will keep calling him cute!
If you keep saying it, he's less likely to.
People cherish things more, when they don't have it anymore
Trust me, when a guy drops his pants the last thing he wants to hear is "cute"

I have mixed feelings about it myself.
Occasionally in private it's nice.
But it's often also awkward and a bit embarrassing.
I'm voting "no" in this case as there's more situations where I feel uncomfortable with it then where I do.
That said, talk with your guy and hear what *he* thinks.
As I'm not him.
I get called that often enough already... and I really don't see it something out of the normal, not like I ever saw it as something not "masculine" or something to get insecure about
but I don't get told cute because of "soft round facial features" it's more like me playing with kittens or making babies laugh, or get toddlers to sleep, stuff like that, lol
to me it is just normal and it makes sense that someone sees that as cute
i think they would if to girls meant the same thing as cute means to us,
when we say a girl is cute it means she's hot, attractive, and good looking/.
to a girl saying a man is cute is like "ur cute like a little puppy or a child., id never go out with you tho cos im not attracted to cute, im attracted to tough and masculine, im jus saying you look innocent and sweet"
its more like an ego blow to be called cute from a girl
I am more concerned by a person's actions than receiving compliments. In fact I honestly don't know how to respond when receiving compliments about my looks anyway, because I work hard on staying fit just for health purposes only.
I never minded unless it was my parents or an older person calling me cute. Then it felt like they were treating me like a child.
But if a girl said I was cute, I took it as a complement. "Awww shucks, maam." LOL
No, I wouldn't like to be called cute.
I wouldn't like to be called any diminutive labels in general, I'm not that kind of a person in my relationships.
A. I think if you really find them cute, say it. But to say it because someone said that 'it should be said more often', no. Be genuine.
B. Saying 'cute' all the time might not work. But saying - 'I think this suits your personality' or just 'That looks really good on you', might be more effective.
Just my opinions.
Cheers 🍻
Getting called cute feels like a compliment for me and they boosted my self-esteem in the past when I was still insecure.
So yeah call those guys cute when you feel this way!!! 💪
“Men and masc folk are cute.”
What the fuck are masc folk? Seriously, what the fuck is that?
I wish i would be refferd as handsome or cute but i am an below average looking guy.. so i don't see anyone even looking at me... haha
Well, I've had women approach me to tell me that I was pretty fucking ugly. So maybe a compliment now and again would be nice.
I was called cute all the way from Kindergarten to the 12th grade. I liked it. LoL!
It's better than a kick in the ass.
No, because I don't think I am cute and would seriously see it as an insult, sorry...
If you want cute, get a puppy. I'm a man. Handsome & sexy AF. Also, so humble. ;)
Or any compliment for that matter. Girls don't realize how much men are deprived of compliments, because anything good we do is considered as something normal.
Eh, I wouldn't mind it, but I also wouldn't mind if I didn't get called it either.
if you call me ugly it's better than cute.
Very humiliating
I wouldn't mind it miss, but depends on the place I am
Not really, never amounts to much when a girl calls me just that, now when she calls me that, handsome, sexy, or hot, that's when I know she's geniuely into me
Nah, after 40+ years. It's not even believable anymore. When a woman calls me handsome I just laugh. Because I know she's just trying to scam me in some way. It's obvious. 😆
