Personally, I think age gaps are totally fine in relationships. It just depends on what age they are when they get together.

In my opinion, it comes down to compatibility and emotional, mental maturity.

if you had two 25 year olds from same social background, they should in an ideal world be compatible with experiences, same world experience and the most compatible in terms of emotional and mental maturity.

As you start moving their ages apart then the above starts to change.

Both have a level of comfort where they will say stop as this overall compatibility is now a problem.

When that occurs will change between couples as we are all individuals and all have comfort levels.

We also I believe sort of match with people who are close to our own levels, so a younger maturer girl would likely match with a slightly older guy who has similar compatibility.
