How to I tell my girlfriend to stop partying?

well it depends…
first of all you need proper communication, without being confrontational and aggressive. second of all, if she had been partying when you met her, and still decided to get in a relationship with her, then you technically have no right to ask her to change that, since you didn’t complain at first…

however, if you communicate things well, how you feel about her partying and maybe figure out a way to compromise, maybe she can party less or get less drunk when she goes out etc etc, things could work out so both parties are happy and satisfied.

but that, again, requires proper communication

by bringing up you're uncomfortable with perhaps the level she parties at.  You cannot force her to stop.

You knew about this before deciding to become girlfriend n boyfriend.

it can be really crap controlling another persons life.

By all means discuss it, however you cannot simply stop someone doing something if there is not a major reason.

You can only voice how it makes you feel. I think it's reasonable to ask it if she isn't responsible. But it's still one of her hobbies, one she practised before you two got together, it came of the package. In the end it is still up to her.

You can't tell her to. You have to discuss how it makes you feel and why it makes you feel that way. Then she has to decide if she your feelings towards it makes sense.
