I'm afraid that if I get into a long term relationship with a man he will stop loving me when I grow old. Like I see a lot of men saying how much looks matter in a relationship, but looks are temporary and only there for a short period of time.
Like will the man stop loving you and cheat on you?

It is true that young people, with their tight bodies, are pleasing to look at, but they would not hold my interest long-term. I much prefer a woman who is closer to my age who can relate to the experiences I've had in life. Relationships tend to be more stable when the participants are in the same developmental stage, dealing with the same developmental issues. As long as my partner puts forth a legitimate effort to avoid getting fat, I'm more interested in how she experiences her sensations when I touch her body than how firm or wrinkle-free her body might be. Her reaction to my actions have more value to me than how firm her body is when she removes her clothes. Looks may attract attention, but the essence of who she is will keep me coming back.

There are all types of both men and women, so never assume all are alike. People often push their partner out of the picture by choosing to be too self-serving to be healthy partners. Focusing on what's in it for you will never hold your partner's interest over time. If you want a relationship to last till death do you part, prioritize nurturing an equal partnership. Never assume you're entitled to a bigger share of the pie, or things should go your way. If you're not bringing something to the relationship, don't expect that something to be handed to you on a silver platter. Make sure both of you always feel safe, secure and special. Before saying or doing anything, consider how those words or actions might impact your partner. Never assume you're entitled to do what you want, when you want and how you want. A relationship is what two people choose to create and nurture. If you want a relationship to last, make sure to focus on what you can do to keep the relationship new and alive rather than expect your partner to do all the work.

A lot of women say the same thing. It's not exclusively a guy thing. Also, if you want to avoid that, avoid getting into a relationship with a guy that prioritizes looks. Looks only matter to shallow people, and you're better off without that idiocy in the long run, in my opinion.
