My number one thing that I look for in a person is a good personality. That contains a lot different personality traits. If they check the boxes in a good amount of them, I would consider them someone worth getting to know.

Some things that I value about personality is being respectful and humour. Those might be my top two. I love to laugh and therefore need my partner to have a good sense of humour.

Being respectful is just common sense. I won't date someone that doesn't respect me. Like any relationship, there is give and take and compromises. Being able to communicate well with your partner is another crucial thing.

It isn't hard to learn quickly whether you mesh well with someone or not.
