Would you be ok if your partner told you you have equal priority to other areas of their life?

If they said you are equal to their friends, job etc. Would you be ok with that or want to be first priority?

Honestly, I want to be their first priority. In making them my first priority, so it's only reasonable to want that from them.

I get that other things pop up that need ti be taken care of or work gets busy or friends pop up, but at the end if the day I'm still their priority just as they are mine.

Eh yah then that would imply your only as important as a friend. That's not how it should be. A partner should Def have a higher priority if the feelings were genuine and not viewed as just a task. Maybe that's too harsh of a way to put it but you get the idea.

It depends what level our relationship is at. If we're just getting started, then no, I don't expect to be first priority right off the bat.
