Why does my friend have a new relationship every year?

Some people are drawn to the energy of newness and have no idea how to keep a relationship new and alive. These people end up having serial relationships, giving up as soon as the newness wears off. Until they learn the value of a relationship comes from what they bring to it, rather than what they're entitled to receive from it, the pattern will probably continue. The more we give, the more we receive; the more we take, the quicker the well runs dry.
