My guy friend gets a new girlfriend every week?

One of my closest guy friends is always getting new girlfriends. Literally every time I talk to him he has a new one. Just in the past 5 days he's had 2. I don't consider them to be real relationships, but he does. As far as I know, nothing sexual is going on, and he's a virgin.

He says he envies me and my boyfriend's relationship, which we've been dating for a little over 8 months, but yet he doesn't value relationships with any of these girls?

Have you experienced anything similar?

And what do I tell him, because I can't deal with this anymore.

sounds to me like he has some sort of relationship anxiety (e.g. fear of committment, fear of rejection, etc). If he can't seem to date someone for more than a week it is clear that he subconsciously has some issue in regards to establishing and maintaining a relationship.

I would just tell him you can't expect to have a real relationship if you date multiple women at a time and the relationships don't last more than a week. If you want something you have to work towards. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. So stop acting insane

He's an attention whore is all. He just wants attention he can't get...There also could be something else there. He's jealous of your boyfriend because your boyfriend is dating you. He might like you and is dating around to try and get you jealous. He might just really want to be with you. I made this big mistake of breaking up with my girlfriend of a year and 7 months in hopes that my crush who I see as my soul mate would leaver her boyfriend for me. It's one or the other attention for himself or a crush on you.

its kind of funny he hasn't even had sex with any of these girls , I admit myself to meeting lots of different girls over the years but I wouldn't consider them to be girlfriends in the relationship sense , more casual friends at times . I don't know if I'd say there is anything wrong with him meeting new people but for some reason he is not connecting with these girls if he has to keep looking for new ones each week

I don't think I've seen something like this since I was 15. You should just let him do his own thing, it will catch up with him when he's paying welfare. You can't make him grow up :P

It's his life, and it's none of your business. Just tell him to cherish every girl he meets because the girl will be the last one that he might experience.
