That's not fair. It would be one thing if he kept coming to somewhere he didn't have to be, but your asking him to not come to work and get money to provide. Seems like your trying to punish him for YOUR own guilt even though you were a willing participant. Whatever you end up doing... remember... you still are just as wrong as he is at the end of the day. So if you tell his wife... you look just as stupid as him. He cheated on his wife... and you knowingly had an affair with a married man. Two wrongs.

So not really an ex boyfriend, but just ex lover as he was cheating on his wife with you (ie you were just a side chick to him). But what I don't get is if it was a bad break up, why he'd be coming back around? Doesn't make sense. But yeah directly saying you don't want anything to do with him anymore (have you said that, or just threatened with telling his wife? Or has it come to threatening because he won't respect your wishes?). But that would also open up YOU to his wife, keep that in mind. Her anger could go towards you more than him? Or to the both of you. Do you want that drama? But you just have to make it clear you want nothing to do with him now. And be direct about it (ie don't be subtle and assume that he should know what you mean, directly say it so there's no doubt or question about it). And it could be your tone of voice also, so be firm (strong) when you say it. Letting him know you mean business.

So you had an affair with a married guy, he's still with the wife and now you're threatening to tell the clueless wife about the affair that you shouldn't have had with him in the first place, right? Now you want to know how to get rid of a problem that you created. Ok then.
Get a new job? Go PRN? Change shifts?
This is why you don't sleep with people you work with and don't sleep with married people. Now look at you, threatening to tell his wife that he's been cheating on her. She doesn't deserve to be married to that jerk, but you... you need to look in the mirror and take a look at yourself. Shame on you
