What’s the biggest mistake you’ve made?

My biggest mistake would be the thought that - I would never fail.

At some point in life I overcame so many obstacles and became so successful that I was thinking it was impossible for me to fail again,

I didn’t even consider that possibility.

However, life gives us success and loss as well, so if you know that Gods of luck won’t always be by your side and that you, too, will fail someday, you’ll prepare better and the fall won’t be that painful.

It’s a good lesson for future.

Probably , always thinking about the bright side of life and mostly trying to be an optimist or hopeful no matter what happens. Life is not worthy enough not to be patient , good , respectful , positive , open-minded , merciful and so on , in short all the decent criteria for "almost" flawless person , so as human beings , we all have to pay attention and do whatever it takes to cope with this situation. Life is not so long , hence , all we need is just beautiful things that ought to be shared with the other people. Happiness increases by share but not the sadness. What I mean is our biggest mistake is arised from the other people's attitudes or their personalities , most probably. But this does not mean that we should be directed to the bad things which makes the world a worst place to live on. If everyone has enough consciousness about all of these there would not be any issue that we make mistake about.

My biggest regret and my biggest mistake are two separate things.

My biggest regret has to do with the person who I had the biggest crush on by far. However my biggest mistake is different growing up I was always considered mature for my age as well as being considered incredibly talented and intelligent that said while I was younger I was also very humble like I don't even think humble is the right word to use I just was flat out insecure. That said one day the truth came to mind that oh hey I'm actually not this flaming bag of crap I'm actually better than that then it turned into the realization that not only am I better than that I'm better than most of my peers on multiple levels. That said the part that was the mistake wasn't being cocky rather it was inefficient use of my talents that was the problem. Had I used my knowledge my skills in my talents to improve my life when I was younger and and actually stood up for myself I wouldn't be in such a bad position as I am in now.

Sleeping with this one guy, just because well he made me feel good about myself for the moment but mostly cause he remembered me of someother guy that broke my heart... it was just once but biggest mistake ever... turned out he had a girlfriend smh I wish I could erase that but it is what it is

I stayed in a dysfunctional relationship for much longer than I should have because I kept giving second chances to the wrong person. This person was good with knowing just what to say for me to forgive them and stay. Eventually, it became very clear that they were a just a talker and didn’t back up their promises and commitments with action. I trusted them, took their word for it, saw no action, but stayed patient—thinking that they would eventually come through. They never did. I was too trusting with the wrong person.

I broke things off and I’m in a much better place now, with an amazing girlfriend.

From that last relationship, I learned the hard way to not be so trusting of someone’s words when their actions don’t back them up.

I think my biggest mistakes are two: First I have the mentality to avoid risk at all cost which leads to that I didn´t take risks and kind of didn´t use my youth to try things out at a time where I still could. I for example never went skinny dipping or I prefered learning in school times or sports and activities with other people.
The second mistake was watching porn in my youth. Like I originally started to watch porn because I´m born with a genetic dysfunction that keeps me orgasm properly and I also can´t get a woman pregnant. I wanted to learn what I´m missing out and I feel like it destroyed me mentally I never dated because it made me even more self-concious and I therefore avoid any deeper level connection with women I get to know.

I've been successful on different levels in life.
I read Eckhart Tolle's books about living a meditative and mindful lifestyle. So I'm trying to live that type of life. But I'm not consistent.

My biggest mistake in life is not giving 100% to living a meditative and mindful lifestyle. Just today I woke up feeling lazy so I skipped my meditation practice. I'm planning to go to a buffet and then see a movie.
