First my sarcastic answer. You asked those of us without a partner how we feel? Here's my answer: I feel with my fingers and hands.
Now here's my feelings about how I feel on any given day. Being without an actual committed relationship with a partner, I get sad at times. How could I possibility be in a committed relationship with another person when I can't even commit to myself to get my roller coaster/hamster wheel life on the right track? I often daydream about where I would be if all the bad choices, I made over the years were good ones. Instead of having to listen to family and especially friends who by the way often figured they could "do my life better than I ever could", this woman may or may not be happier.

My daydreams led me to thinking I was born into the wrong family; I should've been born male instead of female.
Sure, at times having a partner would be great. I would have someone who accepts me as I am, to laugh with, go to places that I might never get to by myself. It's not so much a sexual need for me these days, it would be great if it were like I had as a much younger woman having carefree sex without having to worry about too many things going wrong. On the other hand, having someone in my way constantly, hogging the covers, snoring, making messes in the bathroom or anywhere else in the house doesn't set well with me now that I'm older and wiser. Plus, whenever they (meaning most males) get sick they turn into a big baby and want you to care for them 24/7. Not going to happen any time soon. So many other reasons why I prefer being an opinionated, sarcastic introvert with an actual heart that does care about others. Just not about to live under same roof with a partner.
    * What was your question again?

Honestly, I loved the sarcastic answer as much as your vulnerability in your response as a whole. Thankyou so much

I’m not lonely but often feel emotionally dry, and I get issues I do not know how to fix which my parents help me with. If they die, I plan on getting support if I’m still single, like maybe getting a deaf room mate who can help with chores like killing insects or gardening etc…

I believe in mutual dependency and symbiosis - I help them by doing things for them like call their doctor on the phone, and they help me by killing insects.

Extremely lonely, but also free to do whatever I want since life has no meaning! Plans? Who needs plans? It's kinda like when you're unemployed and your entire Monday through Friday becomes a weekend. Only, with life itself!

Of course, you don't NEED a partner or kids for life to have meaning. Obviously! But if you aren't rich, successful, accomplishing other amazing life goals, or have a strong supporting family (mother and father) at home either, then... 🤷‍♂️ What exactly is the point again?

As for me, my manletness is why I have no more purpose. I'll never have kids, whether I wanted to or not (and with my sh*t genetics, there is no goddamn way in Hell I would torture another human being like that by becoming their father and passing on my flawed trash DNA, shortness, hypothyroidism, and Precocious Puberty included).

I'm still looking for my purpose in life. But hey, at least I'm not Johnny Depp or any of the other guys screwed in Divorce Court, I guess. I think @hahahmm said something like this before; being able to get any woman you want, but most of them aren't worth it, or something. I dunno; it's not like I EVER had the options, anyway. Maybe ask him why being single is so great.

For me though, singledom is a double-edged sword. Freedom and independence, but also a mostly pointless existence; like a ship in the Pacific with no destination. At least I'm alone on the ship, though.

    Carefree AND lonely.
A few weeks ago I had the bed to myself. Doesn't matter how I lay down, all mine, all that space is mine. Now I suffer from a numb arm because she was sleeping on it. But, it's nice to wake up to someone you like.

I never had a partner but whenever I see girls of my age smiling to their boyfriends or my male friends going out for dates I feel a bit of envy in my happiness for them and console myself that I would met one a partner I would really like.

Empty but not really lonely, everything has it timing so I find comfort in me's time while I can.

I’m often getting to know someone so i’m never lonely. But even when i’m not, i’m content doing my own thing. I like my space but if i had a partner, i’d want to spend Fri-Sun with them for sure. I’m pretty carefree up until 10pm at night then thats when I kinda crave someone to talk to

Taking someone that doesn't fulfill my needs would leave me just as lonely as not having a partner at all, if not more so.

So you can't be satisfied unless the man is literally perfect? That's what all women seem to think.

@MCheetah Based on that statement, I'm pretty sure no matter what I answer, it won't even affect your view.
I'm not concerned with dick size, financial state, or height. I'm pretty flexible on weight, even. What I most care about is that he is intelligent and sensitive, and that he treats me right (even if he can only afford so much). I want a companion who is my equal in mind and soul, not some fuckbuddy that pays for my stuff.

If you've ever read "The Blue Castle," that's a pretty decent description of my ideal relationship.
