Did I make a mistake by tipping the cab?

I took a cab just a few minutes ago. We had a lot in common. We were talking about video games and anine. Anways, at one point he was talking on the phone with his boss or someone while he was driving which we all know is dangerous. At the end if the ride I gave him a couple bucks. When I got out of the car I realized what I've done.
Did I make a mistake by tipping the cab?
