How would you feel when the girl you like keeps saying that she wants to be friends only?

I'd be pretty sad and disappointed

I'd probably tell them something like "I'll respect your wishes... however... i don't think I can help... crushing... over you... I'm sorry"

then id probably leave it at that... i wouldn't want to end up becoming like this obsessive stalker type person so...

I'd probably have some hope that maybe they'd change their mind one day... (i've been in that kind of position before so it's possible that could happen)

but I would just leave it at that and move on basically... i'd have to settle for just being friends :( (is it a crime to be attacted to someone? to find someone attractive? I think that's more flattering if anything)

People won't respect our preferences if we don't respect their preferences. I may be disappointed for the moment, but I'd get over it, as I wouldn't want anyone to be with me who didn't truly want to be with me. If she doesn't see value in the relationship, I don't either. The value of a relationship is based on what works for both, not what works for one. There are enough self-centered people in the world; I don't need to join their numbers.

i've obviously had this happen before , it would really depend on the girl and how i knew her , sometimes it makes more sense to just be friends , would depend on how attracted i was to her and if i wanted more or not. can be hard it you obviously want more
