Do opposites or similarities attract in relationships?

In my case the opposite attract doesn't really work. For other might work for me it simply doesn't I've tried dating an extrovert in the past and we were so different from each other that the relationship obviously didn't work. My husband is a lot like me calm, introvert, quiet and I love that for the both of us.

both do if you have a couple that one is an introvert, and the other is an extrovert then the extrovert can make up for the introvert getting things done and deal in public
