How to spice up my long distance relationship?

We love each other, soon will be together. But there is one problem (majorly felt by me): he sometimes chooses real life activities over ours. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he's loyal to me, I trust him. He just waits for our IRL meetups until we watch movies/talk for hours/do activities together. On distance, we just call to have a short talk about our days and exchange affection, and do our stuff. He handles it by keeping it cool, while I handle it by creating intimacy. Sometimes i feel like I'm not as big of a priority when we're on distance everything is fine when we're in real life. How can we solve this issue?

I had a couple ldr when I was younger, I think like your doing is good wanting to spice it up. Send each other things in the post, just an item from them (I mean not saying kinky things necessarily) that belongs to them or they wear can mean a lot

Try to talk about the things you will do together when you meet, the anticipation can build. Taking things slow can be so thrilling
