My boyfriend is getting possessive about me?

So suddenly my boyfriend has become possessive he says that he trust me but he doesn't trust my male friends he also said that i am beautiful and he is just some average looking guy i didn't like when he said that... what can i do here to help my boyfriend let this fear of losing me?

Most male "friends" are interested in their female friends either sexually, or romantically. He likely knows that.

When there are any problems/disagreements in the relationship, if you go to them, they will likely try to make your SO look bad in order to break up the relationship and are unlikely to actually give helpful advice in those situations. Not ALL, but the majority of guy friends will be interested in their female friends.

Explain to him how what he says and does makes you feel. You two could lay down some ground rules for communicating while away especially with the opposite sex

His fear is not unfounded. Women lie and cheat. He is right to not trust your guy friends. The probably all want to have sex with you. He doesn't want to share. This is normal and natural.

Men are territorial. There's a reason that in every other culture apart from the west, women don't have male friends.

I get like that too because I am male and I sometimes get urges towards my girlfriends. Obviously, there had to be some sort of attraction to be just friends.
