It's kinda a sad story, my dad died when I was 10. I am and always will be Daddy's girl. Well, my now husband I was dating in HS and he was nearby, I didn't know he was walking toward me and he heard an argument I was involved in. This bitch and her boyfriend were mad cause of an incident in class. Her boyfriend decided to bring up my dad, his comment hit like a brick. I've never forgotten it, "how can you be a Daddy's girl when daddy is dead?"

I just lost it and was crying, next thing I knew, these arms were just holding me and this voice was saying, "it's ok baby girl, he and I are here to help you!" I'm not sure how long I was held but I felt totally safe. What happened was that he walked up to her boyfriend and knocked him out, told her to go suck a dick and reached out and held me. Everyone around told the teachers what happened and he was warned but mom told the school that she would tell the news about their lack of action if they pressed this issue against us. I will never forget when I looked into the eyes of the person holding me. I knew right then that I loved him.

When he smiled at me after our first big date night🥰. He put up with an amazing Italian dinner (red sauce makes his tongue blister, but I ordered for both of us), an opera and our doubles date couple were hammered after two bottles of wine. He took it all in stride and drove everyone home safely. His smile sent me over the edge!
He called the next morning and asked when we were going to see each other again. Married nearly twenty years
