Ever since my divorce I've found that I strongly prefer younger men. In fact, with the exception of the first year or two (when I was figuring things out), every guy I've been with post divorce has been 10-23 years younger than me. That ranges from everything from one night stands to serious relationships. There are a few reasons why I strongly prefer younger men
1. Younger men have more energy and are more fun
I've always had a lot of energy. I've always wanted doing something. I love going out and having fun, and that hasn't changed as I've gotten older. However, that has changed for a lot of guys my age as they've gotten older. Consequently, I often feel like guys my age slow me down. Younger men are much more at my level in terms of energy and desire for fun/adventure
2. Younger men are often more open minded and supportive
I've been fortunate enough to be a successful relator with a pretty high income. That's often very intimidating for guys my age. In fact, back when I dated men my age/older many of them would try to discourage me from success/encourage me to do worse. Someone who discourages me from striving for my best is an automatic dealbreaker
However, younger men are often much more accepting, open minded, and supportive of my career. Younger guys often support me in my efforts to do my best. Moreover, they're rarely (if ever) intimidated at all with my professional/financial success. They're actually often very proud/impressed with my professional accomplishments and support/encourage me to still strive for professional excellence
3. maturity
In all honesty I'm probably a bit immature for my age (I like to think it's because I'm so much fun. Haha). Consequently, I often find myself more compatible with younger men in regards to maturity
4. He's hot/sexy
I know it's vain. However, if I'm being honest it is a significant factor. Men my age usually don't have hot bodies (and are often OK at best). I know it's vain, but I love a muscular/fit/buff younger guy with bulging muscles. I know it sounds vain, but I think I'm compromising when it comes to physical/sexual attractiveness of the vast majority of men my age. I'd never admit it in public (because I know it sounds conceited), but I've always been super motivated when it comes to taking care of my body. I've always been excellent at working out and staying fit. Consequently, I've still got a body that can rival (or be sexier than) almost any hot 20 year old. I want a guy whose physical fit and attractive like me. I know it's vain, but I want sexy, bulging muscles. That's far more often than not much younger men.
5. The sex
From my experience sex with younger men is much, much, much better than sex with men my age or older. For one thing younger men have way sexier (naked) bodies (as I talked about above). Younger men often have much more compatible sex drives to me. As I've gotten older my sex drive has actually progressively gone up. Consequently, I'm the horniest I've ever been in my life. However, the opposite usually happens for men my age. When I was with men my age I was constantly sexually rejected/ignored. We had sex way less than what was necessary for my needs. By contrast, younger men want sex at the same level as me. We have sex about as much as I want/need (which makes me far more sexually fulfilled).
Moreover, younger men have far better sexual stamina. Men my age and older often don't get that hard and take forever to recover after they've ejaculated. By contrast, younger men get amazingly super crazy hard and can get just as hard after about a minute or two post orgasm. Moreover, they can do this over and over again. As someone who loves having a ton of rounds of sex (often back to back) this is a huge plus.
Also, younger men are often much more eager to sexually please me. I've found that men my age and older are often more stuck in their ways and/or selfish when it comes to the bedroom. They often aren't that invested in my pleasure as long as they get theirs. Younger guys are much more eager/willing to work to give me lots of sexual pleasure. Consequently, I almost always have gotten a ton more sexual pleasure from younger guys than older ones
6. It makes me feel sexy/desired
The fact younger men still find me (at my age) so extremely attractive (physically/sexually/emotionally/intellectually/etc) gives me a huge ego boost and makes me feel amazing. I'd be lying if I didn't say that wasn't a factor

I will always want someone of the same age or close in age. Preferably no more than 3 years older/younger

I would prefer someone close to my age, but most women my age or older hate challenging video games, science, sci-fi, anime, etc. And fewer of those are artists, and the ones who fit all that are either taken or in other countries, so I may have to settle for slightly younger just to find even one woman who is like me enough to be worth dating/marrying.
