Personally I prefer older partners never really cared about age as long as they over 21

My current boyfriend is much younger than me. At first I was really concerned about that, but over time I actually figured out that him being so much younger was actually a positive in a lot of ways.

For one thing, I have a lot of energy and am super adventerous. Guys my age often have a harder time keeping up with me. However, my boyfriend is able to keep up with me, and I think a major reason is because he's so much younger

Another great thing is he doesn't have nearly as much baggage. I think there are ways he's more progressive about gender issues. On a vain note, he's got a muscular bod most guys my age don't have. He also recovers a lot faster (and a lot more times) in bed, so he gives me a lot more orgasms

I know that being with a much younger guy isn't for a lot of women, but it's working pretty great for me

Seems like the votes are in.

1. Women prefer older men
2. Men prefer younger women.

Based off my own experiences I'd say 1. is due to women wanting a leader, or a protector and society has taught us with age comes wisdom and thus using past experiences means a lesser chance of playing the field and getting straight to the point. Most younger men are immature and play too many games, so enough is enough.

As for 2. is due to men wanting to project themselves as the protector and sonon to show the younger woman that they're capable of protecting them. In some cases it goes in a terrible direction of men wanting to controll a younger woman becaise she doesn't know the world yet and thus manipulates her.

It depends.
My wife is 5 years younger than me.
I've always preferred the same age or younger. As I get older I prefer them to be more and more young than me.
So when I was 17, I date 16-17-18.
When I got into my mid 20's I preferred to date right around 19-20.
I never really had any interest dating 25'ish or older.
I am talking about long term commitment, a possible wife or mother of my kids.
If I encountered an attractive woman that I was clicking with I would have be open to a casual thing but would never consider her for a long-term commitment if she had deal breakers or in this case she was too old.
A wife had to meet certain criteria.

As a guy, younger is more natural but I never REALLY cared as long as she met all of my requirements: looks, top level personality, respectful, very low body count. They don't often make em like that anymore tho so it sucks to be young guys today.
