SO, I'm living with my boyfriend. While I'm a clean freak he is a total messy person who doesn't really clean up without me telling him to. He expects me to cook anytime.
When he gets angry he talks over me and tries to prove his point. When I want him to leave me alone he won't do it until I'm screaming at him or I have a mental breakdown. I'm currently paying for everything for him and me. Including the house bills and food because he keeps going in and out of jobs although he is in a job now which should be a long term one so soon he will be able to pay me off the 3 months of rent he is due.
He invites people and they usually drink alcohol and he doesn't respect it when I want to go to bed at 11 and he wants to be loud with his friends till 2 or 3 am in the living room, especially when I have work the next day at 8am. There were 3 different times where him and his different friends on different occasions got violent in the house and the police got called and it's usually because his friends start on him. It usually ends up with my boyfriend getting beat up as he says he is only defending himself.
I feel so sad and frustrated everyday. There are days where I don't feel safe or comfortable in my house. But he always apologises and says he loves me. He tries to show me affection and clean the house etc to show me he cares. But I just don't know.
I feel so frustrated with him and with myself. Am I overreacting? My friend is telling me that he shouldn't be doing things like this and that she is worried for my safety but my boyfriend says all of what she is saying is bullshit. He has never physically hit me. But I just feel so down
I don't know what to think anymore. I always end up in situations where I take care of my past boyfriends and its now happening with this one. I don't want to kick him out because he doesn't have family to go back to and I dont want him to end up homeless... Am I too nice? What should I do because I'm torn and just want to give up.
