Somehow the topic of a kidnapping came out. We were talking about a situation where we're taken against our will and I'm getting raped.

He said that it would be better for me to asked to be shot after it happens instead of being a rape victim, claiming I would never recover from that ordeal, that it's too horrible.

I find it creepy that he would want me dead instead of being a surviving. I imagine going to intensive therapy afterwards but working it out, perhaps helping the community or taking a self-defense classes, anything to get on with life.

In Highschool my friends girlfriend was attacked and raped by serial killer Paul Bernardo. Before that happened she was super nice, bubbly very friendly.

Afterwards it was like she became a zombie.

I'm sorry to hear that happened. Yes rape is a horrible ordeal for anyone.
I'm still super shocked that my boyfriend would want me dead if I were raped than working out the issue with me and letting me go to intensive therapy. I still would want to live and see justice being done to the perpetrator.

A bit creepy yes. I do agree it must be very traumatic to go through a rape event. But I've seen many rape victims who later made it in life.

Exactly. If I was a rape victim, I still want to move on in life. The fact that my boyfriend would want me killed makes me super shocked.

The came up after he mentioned about the case of a girl and boyfriend that got kidnapped and taken to a car at group. Then the guy was left for dead (he survived) but the girlfriend was shot to death.
My boyfriend thinks they did the girl a favor in shooting her because she wouldn't have wanted to go over that horrible ordeal of getting raped... and that if that ever happen to me, I should ask to be shot.

I'm still very shocked that he would want me dead if that happens instead being a strong survivor.

Yes it's shocking into dumping him. Why would he want me dead? What man would want his girlfriend shot instead of going to therapy with her after the ordeal and working it out?
