How to deal with his mother?

I’m 17 and so is my boyfriend , his mother usually helps with us seeing each other only because my boyfriend wants to. And soon enough I’m gonna get my license. But every time me and my boyfriend go out she always has a problem. Especially with me. Thinks she can judge me behind my back to my boyfriend. How do I handle this situation specifically?

I just watched my 17-year-old stepson get into a fight with his slightly older by months girlfriend, they have a kid. My just listening to them fight, my stepson puts the blame on his mom... for anything he can. The result is her thinking my wife is doing a bunch of shit that she really isn't doing. Basically, it's all her boyfriend and blaming any and everything on his mom is a easy out for him against his girlfriend... she buys that bullshit and forms opinions based on bullshit.

Not saying this is your situation, but I know different perspectives sometimes helps. You got to keep in mind that you're getting one story from your boyfriend, and your boyfriend's mom is getting a story just like you are. Be careful to not be an assumer... imagine being an outsider to the drama like me watching all the bullshitery going on. My wife's too old to really care and just wants to be a part of the babies life, but now any interaction with them turns into drama all thanks to her son basically placing blame elsewhere when it's usually just him and him alone. He doesn't lie to me about the truth because he knows I'm not a part of their games. ... so let my situation I have to sit and watch pose a question for yours... Does the Mom really have a problem? and if she does, is there a chance there is a problem being caused for her to have a problem to deal with?

Through that. But It is different, the things she has picked on about me I would hear myself. It’ll be how she thinks I’m trashy when most of the time I’m over she’s not even there to even say that. Or the fact that I’m over there a lot because my boyfriend has nothing to do so why not spend time with him while we can. Everything she does is pick , pick , pick. And I told him I won’t respect her because of the things she say behind my back but I’ll respect when it comes to her bringing us to places we want to go for now if we needed her to drive us there. It’s just so complicated because she tries to run things and I hate it.

It's different... just be aware of what you get told that may be fake... the same could be done to his mother as well. The difference between you and her is she's been dealing with that fucker a lot longer and the reason she's still around is because of genetic obligation at the least. And if you're not hearing your trashy straight from her lips, take it with a grain of salt. I mean you may not know it yet because it takes around 6 years at least to know this kind of stuff... he could be the "feed you stories type" My situation sucks on the other hand... my step son is too retarded to handle anything on his own and very manipulative... and that bullshit has pushed his girl to the point of monitoring his phone and that sort of stuff so I can't even shoot the shit with him. I don't really blame her, she's probably looking at self preservation as far as I can see. My step son is just a fucking retard... he did nothing but fuck shit up with us and now he's going to do that with his girl and a baby. On the other hand it could be karma... he fucked us so hard and now his girl is giving it back to him.
