Why would my boyfriend treat me better now that I make more money?

So my boyfriend was distant, not much affection, just felt like he was just there. So I started a business make a lot of money and it seems as if he's all over me. Romantic, hugs kisses, more sex. Just different now and it makes me feel weird or that he only cares because I have more money. What do you think?

For me I look at the qualities of a woman beyond looks for if she's worth dating (I'm 30, looking for wives not girlfriends). So if she's successful in her career and in life, that's a huge positive thing for her and it's something I want to support and encourage because it brings value to our future.
