How to make my boyfriend treat me better?

He makes me feel like he doesn't like being with me, and he rarely ever texts me, and he's said intentionally mean things twice to me now. He just makes me feel like he doesn't care as much anymore, and like he's taking me for granted.

I feel like now he really has to show me he cares or I have no choice but to break up with him, which is the last thing I want to have happen. I have talked to him about it several times before, too.

Should I distance MYSELF and see if he cares and misses me once I stop acting ultra-affectionate and caring, stop texting and making plans? Would that make him realize he's losing me and step up his game?

What else can I do to PREVENT breaking up?

Just retreat...this is one of the easiest questions you have ever asked me...yeah..ik..might not be easy for you to implement...but..as an old campaigner...this one is easy for me...don't be chill or icy..just retreat a little bit and see if he chases...this is not a difficult concept, but one that young people with hormones have problems following through on...OK..the end game is that someone has to cave..but in your case..you want to show that you are respectable..I mean mentally..don't need to know the physical specs as in "are you easy sexually"...let him wonder about you..if he does NOT wonder about you..then you have nothing anyway...I know that you are young and I know that he is young...but not too early to take a lesson from an old sinner...I am not advising you on how to hurt him or take advantage...only how to test him...why would I not?..you are a favorite with me...(:(:(:

And when he says something hurtful or does something mean, should I just walk away? Or tell him "Dont say that stuff."

Yes I would wait or him to contact you..if he does not care enough to bother then you have nothing anyway...and you should never put up with him saying mean things to you...either b*tch him out or break up with him...You a very pretty girl and have great legs...I see a lot of males in your future...no reason to hang on to a loser...o.O

been together four months now, and we see each other every other day to every three days. but in between he will hardly ever text me or make the plans first.
