Is my boyfriend cheating? Found a comb on his car and told me it’s not his and don’t know who is it from?

I saw a comb on my bf’s car on the backseat of his car last Saturday which is not in there when we hangout last Thursday night. I know my combs and I know it’s not mine. I asked him about it but he said it’s not his and he doesn’t know who the owner is. I was skeptical on it but didn’t press him too much about it; I trust him and want to give him the benefit of the doubt since he just also cleaned his car so it’s probably an old comb that he saw and placed it in the backseat. We just got together recently, I don’t want to be a controlling girlfriend but I’m scared that he knows I trust him and will take advantage of it.
