I met a man abroad. We’ve been texting for 3 years. I told him I liked him , would be willing to visit him etc. He told me the distance is the main issue for him, that a relationship can’t be formed from far away. Fast forward 3 months since he told me, I miss him so much. I can’t help but feel he was so perfect for me. He’s the first man I’ve felt this way about in years. It hurts so bad. There were so many good things about him. The thing is, he never explicitly said that he didn’t want to me with me. I feel like I need to hear it. I feel like if he said , directly, straight to the point ‘ I do not want to be with you and I never will be’ , it would help me to move on. I’m considering asking him to tell me this, straight up. Then I’ll know for 100% that this never could possibly work. What do you think of this idea?
