Why do highly educated girls tolerate DV for a longer time, whereas other girls are observed to be fairly quick to react to DV, in some or other form?

On average, it is observed that the women who are highly educated, have registered jobs and everything, tend to tolerate DV for prolonged periods of time, as compared to other remaining girls.

These remaining girls are found to be fairly quick to react to DV and take personally appropriate steps accordingly.

Why is it? Directed towards both guys and girls.

Did you have any such client in your experience?

Yes, indeed. And I remember meeting a girl on POF and we met up for a first meeting. She was attractive AND very bright, employed as a CPA. She wasn't interested in dating me because I had been married and divorced twice. Admittedly, I made some bad decisions, but I admitted my mistakes and learned some lessons.

However, after her marriage and divorce, she had a succession of three different boyfriends who lived with her and all three were either alcoholic or drug addicted. She simply refused to acknowledge those mistakes as being "serious" mistakes.

I'm not sure if I believe in this. Sadly, any woman/girl can get into a relationship where there's domestic violence. Their level of education has nothing to do with it.

The higher the societal status, the more difficult it is for anyone to come out and admit that 'Yeah, something is wrong with my life here. Anybody?' I believe they need to maintain their image of a happy good old family, I guess?

It's especially difficult for a woman. If you've seen old Indian serials like Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, you'd realise what intense amount of pressure isthere on Indian women to act and compose herself, even if the husband is kind of a cheater.
