Why are single women a threat?

When my neighbour moved in I made a card and posted it through her letter box she didn't say thank you or anything and for months after she kept playing loud chanting music to the early hours.
Over time she has locked herself out her home and nearly burned the place down.
I've helped her on both occasions.
I was more concerned because she has a young son.
She has thanked me but been very distant. Which is OK.
Anyways it seems she has a partner.
Since I got my puppy he's been friendly and spoken to me.
So much so that when my dog sees him he wants to greet him. So instead I lift him and wave his paw, he asks me how we are getting on and that's it really.
The other day I bumped into them when I was on my way out, I said hi to him first then I said hello to her.
I saw a look of contempt come over her face.
The same happened again the other day I was coming in the same time as the partner we both said hello...
I let him into the building and he followed behind.
She came out and started at him in their language.
I am a single woman and I guess yes I have had different sexual partners, maybe more than I'd like to say in the last year. As I'm basically looking for someone. Anyways that doesn't change me from being a decent human, I keep to myself generally and don't really bother anyone.
I'm not after her partner but I can't help but be friendlier to him especially when he's not been so unkind.

Any woman, single or taken, is only a threat if she is handsy or flirty with my man/target AND he reacts positively towards it. If he doesn't give in to the temptation, then she's not a threat. She still need her ass beat tho just in case 🤣

I am not a flirter in a sexual sense. I'm friendly but I've been told that's still flirting. Going forward I will just say hello and keep it moving, getting the doggy to wave was my way of trying to teach the dog you can still be friendly without jumping up and greeting people

I suppose she was jealous and thought you were interested in her boyfriend. Or she thinks that you're indecent for having different sexual partners.

Perhaps this is true but it's stupid to think in such a way.
She has had different men in her home.
I have only just remembered this myself tbh.
They didn't buzz her door she had to "let them in".
This was during the time her partner was "away"

Possibly on the past she lost a partner to another woman, or the guy has cheated on her or she cheated on an ex or most likely she took this guy from another woman.

I guess so... I figured that I'm viewed as being a slut so that's why. I don't have friends or any females that come to my home. Women are weird. And clearly this makes me a threat

Tbh I'm only talking to him because he talks to me and my dog seems to want to greet him. Generally speaking I would say hi and keep it moving.
I tend to be a very closed and private person. Having this dog has really changed my life.
But what I will say though is that she isn't so friendly and I do think my neighbours judge me because I have had different partners... More than them. I guess. But I'm young on dating apps although they don't think so I am socially actively but mostly online I guess.

@lilyanony1. As I said. You are just being sociable. Nothing wrong with that being that. Especially in today’s world were people seem to have a chip on their shoulders.
But I have dated woman that would feel threatened if their boyfriend even spoke to another woman. Not the relationship that I was looking for!

I think single women are a perceived threat. My wife used to say its the married ones that can be more of a threat because they fly under the radar
