You will have to take a deep breath and inform your parents about that fact. The same will of course have to be the case with your girlfriend.
There are a lot of things that you will have to get out of the way but first, you need to have a confirmation by a gynecologist that your girlfriend is indeed pregnant and that she is not just late with her menstruation.
The most difficult parts will be
1. To inform your parents and your girlfriend to inform her parents and to see their reactions.
2. To make a common decision with your girlfriend on what the next steps are going to be. Keep the child or giving up for adoption. I am not even talking about a third option because that is no option in my eyes.
3. If your girlfriend is still in school, what are her priorities and options going to be.
Given the fact that you are 17 and your girlfriend probably around the same age, your parents are probably in the age gap 38-45, which means that they should be open to that kind of problem.
It is important that you are upright and honest with everyone and that you give a very serious thought about what your next steps will be. The sooner you open up to your parents, the better for everyone. Good luck.
