If you've ever been in a relationship and your partner left you, what's the reason for them?

They say that most mental illness or anxiety issues do not full mature in a person until their late 30's to mid- 40's. So this was the case with my ex-wife, 22 years... the signs were always there, but as she turned 40 she become completely unreasonable and ridiculous. I guess you can say she left me, but I was over it years prior. I was not equipped to deal with it. In the divorce she made all types of ridiculous and completely false claims. She filed for three different restraining orders against me, all of which were thrown out... I mean it was pretty crazy stuff.

What was the reason for it all? Hell, I don't know the women lost it.

General learned: sometimes things are going to fast or she is stressed with life (job etc) she backs away. The guy fails Test IF he gets all emotional, needy, or up in her grill heading to friendzone rather than calm and address her reaction. You stress her out and this phantom will pass you by !!!

If this is fresh then go no contact. Don't needy whine best friend... rather, Gotcha.. understand your wishes THEN go dark. Not Dark and DUMB-if she texts you respond within a minute Busy right now... give me 15 minutes... hey and smile emoji. And the crap you were doing better be super important !!

I don’t think I’ve ever been broken up with, but my last relationship ended on mutual terms because he had cheated on me twice and I was moving back to my hometown, so we decided to end the relationship since there was enough damage done already and we didn’t want to try long distance.

After 15 years together she lost interest in being a wife and mother (She basically had a mid-life crisis and wanted to be promiscuous and free of any responsibilities again).

Our life was getting difficult at the time because my father was very sick, I had to work, drive 3 hours to go see him in the CCU, and then drive back to feed his cattle. My wife was sick of the way things were (Through good times and bad right)? Then my dad died and I went into a depression for a little bit because I was grieving and everyone he knew was after me trying to get his stuff. So it was a lot at once and my wife was like "Fuck this situation, I'm gonna go date my coworker, you take care of the kid and the bills, and your family problems."

She cheated, left me, then her coworker dumped her because he just wanted to fuck her.

Unlucky man, I was in situation where I thought I was in love. I've been with her for 3 years then covid came and I refused to kiss her. This was when the vaccine hadn't come out yet. The reason is cos my dad has diabetes and he is at risk of kidney failure and if he got covid he'd die. And I refused to be the weak link who let my father die because I couldn't keep it in my pants. So she couldn't understand so we broke up. 7 days later she kissing another guy. I felt broken and dead inside. But I'm over the depression she's still with her new man and I'm looking for other smart Muslim girls to date but I don't know how to ask...

I'm sorry to hear that. It's crazy how we both lost women when we were just trying to do the right things for our families. I guess maybe the bad luck was a true test for our relationships and they failed. Maybe we're meant to meet different women who will honestly be there through good times and bad.

At first it was out of the blue, just a message saying she didn't want to be my girlfriend anymore without explanation. Then it was no contact or communication at all, then after months of trying to get in contact with her i get a phone call from her saying she was getting married in a different country. It would be the last time she talked to me.

In short she was trafficked and taken away from me to be married off by her family to a stranger twice her age.

Still hurts even after all these years.

As weird as this is going to sound, I dont think there's ever an unreasonable reason to leave. If you're not happy, you're not happy. No amount of rationalization will stop someone from falling out of love, even if it does sometimes delay the inevitable.

He couldn't accept my past. I started feeling like I would never be good enough for him. Plus it didn't help that he would still be friends with his ex. We never argued and got along great and his family loved me. Sad but he wasn't the one
