How do I bring up being active on social media but not texting me?

I noticed a few times now where the guy I’ve been talking to for awhile now won’t text back for awhile and when he does respond he’ll tell me he either wasn’t on his phone or it died but it’ll say he’s active on Facebook 10 mins ago etc. He’s not much of a phone guy to begin with but I kind of want to ask him about this but I don’t want to sound crazy if it’s something I shouldn’t really be worrying about.

I agree to tell him the truth. Maybe there's some sort of bug on social media that causes that and his phone really died, or maybe he's just not so much into you and doesn't want to answer, maybe he's so much into you that wants to make you wait for his texts, maybe he's working at the same time he has social media opened in another monitor (he has 2 monitors). The possibilities are endless, asking is the only way really. You might face rejection so brace yourself, or you might face something completely unexpected. The thing I would like you to know is that you don't know what's gonna happen, and that's okay.

Thank you for your honesty. I’m hoping it’s not that he’s not into me or rejection. He did just ask me to come meet his family and I’m going away with him at the end of the month with him and his friends. First time meeting them so I’m hoping it’s not bad. Thank you!
