Can someone really have a favorite secret or are secrets usually something you should worry about by fear that someone will discover them?

I don't quite understand how you can see a person in secret for so long. Are you spying on him or stalking him or are you meeting him in secret without anyone knowing it?

Anyway, if, after all those years, he tells you that you are "his favorite secret", that could mean that his feelings are reciprocated. I presume that you have feelings for him as well and in this case, you should perhaps open up to him and let him know about your feelings.
