My work schedule has become more busy with Christmas coming up and how do I get a family member from another country to calm down with her texting?

She will literally send texts after 9pm and I have to be up at 6.30am in the morning. I can no longer text during the day mostly because at work I'm not allowed to be on my phone and I also take public transport to get back home and I can't be constantly texting her her all the time. I feel like she gets offended now that I haven't really talked to her that much

Just tell her that. The great thing about texting is that the message stays on your phone to be read at a convenient time. Respond to her when it's convenient for you. She might not like that. Not your problem.
