If the guy does it with everyone, it's generally a sign of insecurity. If it is only with one person or one type of situation, he's generally frustrated with her lack of acknowledging her role in the situation. Acknowledge your role, rather than pointing the finger at him, and he's more likely to acknowledge his role. Unfortunately, people tend to be quick to accuse, blame, criticize, demand and tell others what they should or shouldn't do, so people start off on the defensive. Do your best to make sure the other person feels safe, rather than focus on your sense of entitlement, and you'll generally like the results. If the other doesn't reciprocate in kind, after you've established a consistent pattern, you may want to question your choice in men.
