Part of it depends on how well you are doing where you are now. Does your family help with the kids? Is your partner making good money where you are now, compared to what he could be making if you move? If you move to his hometown, does he have a family that will be involved with the kids? Just a few of the questions to ask.

Draw up a list of pros and cons for where you are now and your partners home town, I would be willing to bet that the biggest pro in moving would be you being financially better off (State taxes etc) the biggest con for you will probably be your business, you never said what it was but could you do it remotely?
Yikes. This is a tough question to answer. Maybe professional couples counseling. Depends if your married or not as well.
