What does it mean if a guy tells you "You're my type"?

My boyfriend said "You're my type", but what did he mean by that? I'm his first girlfriend so how does he even know what his type is by only dating one girl? :/

That's a very good question and I'm glad that you asked it. It reminds me of a time when I met this one woman and she was very interesting to me. I talked to her a lot and discovered that she worked at a store that sold many different items. She also seemed to have an obsession with making Tik Tok videos and posting them on Facebook. Now the interesting thing about that woman who's name was Richelle, is that she looked just like Lucy Liu. I talked to her a lot about her life, but I soon realized that she really didn't like me that much and eventually she tried to get money out of me. In the meantime I was still very in love with her because I thought it was cute that she didn't speak English very well, but she would say "Don't type such long and difficult sentences because you're going to give me a nosebleed" lol. To this day I still wonder about that woman sometimes. The weirdest thing about her was that she wanted to date me and have me message her ex boyfriend who's Asian and tell him that I stole his Asian girlfriend. I didn't think that was very nice so I had lost some respect for her after that conversation. She was incredibly beautiful but I started noticing that she would constantly update her facebook profile and post multiple pictures of her smiling at the camera and basically obsessing about how beautiful she is. I feared that everything I told her about how attractive she is turned her into a monster. I took an already conceited woman and turned her into a person 100% in love with herself to the point where it probably annoyed her friends, family, and co-workers. I made her a worse person possibly. So anyway, she thought it was funny that I was so obsessed with her beauty as well. I was feeding the monster and that woman didn't even like me as much as all the other Asian woman that I was messaging simultaneously. So that's and the story of Richelle and she wasn't really my type completely. That brings me to a woman name Dulce. She was very cute and very humble, I fell in love with her very quickly over the internet because she is a very sweet, very humble woman with 2 children. SHe wanted me to bring her overseas and she wanted a better economic situation. I didn't want to do that but I enjoyed when she would send me pictures of her boobs or recordings of her voice. In the end she did try to get me to send her money often and I did feel bad for her. She would've been better off to be speaking with a different person who has money to be sending, not me. Sometimes I would tell Dulce to close her eyes and pretend that she's kissing me and I would do the same. We could feel each other in that moment in some weird way (So romantic) but ultimately she wasn't my type either. Maybe your boyfriend just likes how you look and that's what he means by you being his type.
