Is it a red flag, if a guy moves too fast?

we have only been chatting for 3-4 weeks. we haven't met yet, because he is in another state. He has told his mom about me and told me I will be his future fiancé. is this weird? how do I bring it up without sounding harsh?

Its not normal in the grand scheme of things. But I am sure to him that it is a normal feeling. I would try to have a deep conversation and try to understand why he feels so deeply that he wants to marry you. A lot of times people now a days are confused about their emotions. For instance its shown that you have similar bodily reactions when your horny, and when your having an anxiety attack. My point is not everyone can tell by their emotions if they are truly " in love" with someone else. For your own sake you should probably initiate the conversation now as to getting a deeper understanding of why he loves you, and don't just let "because I do", or "your always so kind and sweet and pretty and exactly what I am looking for" be an answer, because they aren't. They are extremely vague and don't actually share anything about you. There's millions of girls in the world, and most of them are kind sweet and pretty, if he really can't come up with an idea that isn't superficial, he probably is just speaking from emotion. Which is totally fine, but sometimes recognizing that can help a person grow. I'm an NOT saying to break it apart, but by trying to understand whether this is emotional or genuine can really bring a clearer sense of understanding and growth to you both. And you may even fall deeper in love with him if he has some good points.

Yeah. Guys who fall for women too fast either have mental problems or will ditch you just as fast so either way just leave.

Yes, it’s probably the #1”Red Flag”! There are obviously others, but the moving too fast, or pressuring me to move faster than I’m comfortable with… yeah, that’s the big one to me, as far as “Red Flags” go.

I've known a girl a year, I've also known this other girl for 10 years, and my parents have yet to know of either of them
