Why is being single so bad?

I never understood that. Many people are happy single and we shouldn’t frown upon that.

Pairings are essential to form family units, which create functioning interactions between people, and stable society- which propagates itself via reproduction. Being in a couple provides stability and support to the individual, and permits them to specialize in something, while their significant other complements them.

For example, the guy can dedicate his time to work, while the women can direct her time toward taking care of the household and the children. The guy couldn't easily take care of the household, let a lone the children without the wife, just as the wife couldn't do what she does and also make enough money to pay for the bills. In the end they each work 8 hours rather than 16- it's economically efficient.

Also, reproduction is important. Despite the global warming alarmists, or the Malthusians, we as a society need to maintain, or grow our population. If we do not, our civilization collapses. Couplings between men and women both lead to reproduction, and within that pairing children are properly cared for.

While hypothetically someone can be "happy" outside a relationship, the spread of this lifestyle leads to social decline.

There it is. You're a perfect example of a "modern woman." You're so ideologically consumed with the idea that humanity is bad that you'll contribute to humanity's extinction. Why would someone not consider that mindset bad?
It's not worth arguing whether human existence is good or not; as a devout Leftist your brain simply won't accept anything outside your dogma (e. g. humanity is bad), but can you at least comprehend that for those who value human life, and believe humans should exist far into the future, the decision to contribute to this is positively viewed, while the antithesis is negatively viewed?

Oh, I’ve been thinking about humanity being wiped out for a long time. I’m not grateful for our species. As a matter of fact, humans had made this planet so unbearable to live on that I don’t want to be here. And you can laugh at me and call me whatever name but I’m not to change how I feel.

I haven’t asked anyone out. I’ve been asked out before but rejected the guys who did ask me out. Quite honestly, I don’t really have the motivation to meet anyone. I’m not really a people person.
