If you love someone set them free, if they come back they are yours forever, if they don’t…. Hunt them down with a furious vengeance!!! (Jk)
My ex was supposed to go to the same college as me, but at the last minute we was wait listed to his dream college! I insisted he go, and he did. But we had to break up! LDR’s are a strain for the most committed married people, but for a couple of horny teenagers? I knew that there would be infidelity and it would end in acrimony. So I ended it before I moved into my house after graduation from high school. It broke my heart, and his. But I loved him enough to let him go. To not do so, would have been really selfish on my behalf!

Wow funny! My first relationship was a mixture of tol&smol, moody& sunshine, chill ¬ chill, bodyguard &royal. It was a long bittersweet... toxic relationship 🖤.
Right now my relationship with my best friend (a guy) is a mixture of tol&smol, sweet& supportive, and mutual pining, and a little of I'm scared & n I'm not ❤️.

lmao... these are hilarious and it got me thinking...
I was always one to really get to know partners in detail and also in depth... so that was always grounds to find both similarities many but also contrasting traits that worked very well as a complement to one another, or a differential match
and that's something I've always enjoyed and do enjoy it in all kinds of relationships, with friends, family, coworkers and acquaintances as well... they more layers there are to someone the more I tend to like that someone
of course, always aiming for a balance in the amalgamation that relationships are, or should be, anyway...
People tend to neglect what they have, we have something new, something we have wanted for a long time but as time passes we loose interest.
I say you should make an effort to keep thing fresh and exciting, holidays, weekend trips, naked Sundays, cool for one another, a small “just because” gift.
I’m constantly giving my girlfriend different angles, small gifts, surprises.
This can also be sexual, drive over wearing just a long coat!
Wait for him on your knees!
When out for dinner or drinks return from the rest room and stuff your pants in his pocket!
I’ll leave it there 😇

I believe that opposites attract and I also believe that birds of a feather flock together.
Old married couple sayings.
I can say that in some measure or the other, I've seen almost all of them. One that applies to me probably would be "Rivals 2 lovers" - when I first met my wife, she was an older girl in my school who used to tease and bully me with her friends.
Then I gave her a seat on the bus back home, and we started talking, and she gradually stopped being mean to me and started inviting me to do homework at her home and play videogames with her. That's pretty much how we became friends, but it took years before we got together and eventually got married.
Another cliché would be "tol & smol", with her being tall and me being small - this is something I took from my father, he was quite short and my mother too was taller than him.
I dunno, I think most of the girls I've dated were these anxious types who were really sporadic and energetic.
I'm a very sporadic person who's energetic but I don't really experience anxiety. So I don't usually overreact to things. I think women I date like that about me that I don't really get phased by anything and I do usually know exactly what do do in a given situation.
And I like being dependable. I try my best to be solid and trustworthy and do right by everyone who is my friend/family.
The "i'm scared, i'm not" one. My ex was one of a tough guy. He got hurt really frequently as he played many sports and didn't give shit. I would complain about how he's literally bleeding like crazy and he would say it didn't hurt so we got into quite a lot of disputes. I swear he would drag me to scary rollercoaster rides, and watch horror movies. It was not a pleasant experience and I don't think I got braver after that and would not experience them again if I could. But yeah, you can see we didn't really mesh and broke up.
My current relationship is with a girl and we are both scaredy cats. I'm enjoying it so far as she's not pressuring me to do things I don't want to do. :)
I've witnessed several relationships that seem to be like some of these, but you never really know haha
I've only actually had one girlfriend, so I'm not sure what ours would have been called. But I'd say all of those clichés are at least partly truetol & smol
also, i see lots of old married couples out in public and it's THE MOST ADORABLE FLIPPIN THING EVER
Pretty sure all these exist somewhere. But they're all so cute I can't decide which type I'd want.
I feel like I'd be the one who's too shy to show my feelings and end up with a partner who loves getting me flustered.I’ve had multiple lovers and girlfriends that insisted i behave in a certain way very different from my nature. As soon as i did so, they dumped me, every one every time; no exceptions.
Rival 2 lovers was me and my ex. We loved each other but super competitive and both very strong opinions haha
I've never been in a relationship but I'd say mutual morons and Confident flirt x "can't take a hint" would probably be the closest to any hypothetical relationship I'd ever be in.
This post is hilarious and has just made my day!
I’m sure that you could find examples of just about any cliché you wanted to
These are actually super cute. I do believe in a lot of them tbh. Especially moody and sunshine lol.
Briefly dated a guy a foot taller than me and I still stand by the belief that height is overrated 😂
I think there are many. Two specific ones that come to mind are "opposites attract" (not always true but often) and "work spouse".
I'm scared, I'm not
Why isn't "I have the pussy, I make the rules" up there?
Mutual morons and old married couples are obviously true
How about people that stay in a relationship thinking that the other person will change. Of course they never do.
