So most us know that race comes with a certain form of social status attached to it. Blacks are often looked down upon by a lot of races and whites are looked at as top of beauty with many races worshipping/envy them low key. The result of this is that a lot of people may hide their relationship/interest of wanting to date a black person but proudly show off their white partner to the world on social media.
A good example of this can be seen with NBA players who often ditch their long time black partner and get a white woman when they make it big in the NBA.

Now, given that at a young age, children are bombarded with the message that "White is beautiful and blackness is ugly", do you think that the a large percentage of people who pursue white people as romantic partners have an inferiority complex?
Meaning, they see themselves as inferior to their white partner and desperately want to have children with them so that their family further down the line can gradual transition into being looked at as white phenotypically.
