Online guy says I don’t think I can have a romantic relationship with you.. can guys help me?

He first asked if we can meet and see where it goes and then weeks later he said this.. but we haven’t met in person it’s just messages and some pic. Recently we did a few video call.. Is it normal to decide this without meeting in person

During video call when I asked why he doesn’t think we can have a romantic relationship he says “ he doesn’t know why he said that “ and that “ it’s true people have to meet first “
but he also doesn’t message now unless I do first he replies right away.

I don’t know if I should still meet him.. I’m extremely sad he said that ! If we meet in person is there any chance things can change?
What do you guys think I should do?
I truly looked upon meeting this guy once I turned back home from this school - out of state course. 😟

He's right. Online is totally different than meeting someone in person.

Online personality isn't necessarily in person personality.

People hide their true identity and intentions behind a screen.

Meet him in person and see where it leads.

Also with messages he only replies unless I message him. Before it was him messaging me only. So it’s like taking turns? If I go days without messaging he doesn’t message me but when I message me he talks to me right away !

We are meeting tomorrow so I guess we will see tomorrow. I just feel pessimist because I liked him and I’ll meet him tomorrow with the idea that we are friends now. It hurts me I don't know anymore

All you can do is try. If he doesn't put the same energy as you then he isn't for you. Find someone else.

We met today first time in person. He didn’t let me pay anything. He paid at the restaurant and for coffee later in another restaurant. He seemed like he was liking me but I’m not sure if as friends as he says online last week. He let me use his gloves because he saw I didn’t have gloves. When I came home he wasn’t messaging at all. So I send him a message and said “ I’m back home ~ thank you so much for today I really had a good time and I’m happy I met you “
He replied : “ Yeah, it was nice meeting you in person! I’m glad you enjoyed it” that’s all.. I don't know what to think. I have to See if he still contacts me. He said he doesn’t think he wants romantic relationship with me but good friends when we met online only not met face to face yet. I don’t know if his mind can change today that we met. I did like him. I’m shy in the end when I took the metro I did the usual goodbye and left I didn’t try to hug I think he wanted to but the moment was lost in seconds because I left..

I realized when I was talking to him he would make king eye contact with me that’s all

Should I tell him I like him it just see how he acts thus days. If he dies then try to message me much than I can move on?😟

He did ask if we can met in dec30. Since he is leaving for Christmas to parents house in NJ

He told you he doesn't desire a romantic relationship with you, you got your answer how he feels about you.

You can message him and tell him you like him, but we most likely respond and say he's not ready for a relationship as to try not to hurt your feelings in means he isn't interested.
