Was I wrong in this situation?

My boyfriend has asked me to quit my job and take over one of his companies. Yesterday morning he called me I answered the phone and said Hi Baby. He was extremely upset he goes you don't call me baby in the morning you need to be professional. He adds you don't know if I am calling you to ask you a question with my client on the phone. I understand what he's saying but I found it a bit extreme. Last week I greeted him with "Good Morning Baby" and there was no issue. Now he's upset. We talk business and before we hang up I say well how would you like for me to greet you? He goes oh so now you are in your feelings. We are not going to be able to work together if you are going to be in your feeling. Am I missing something here? I told him I will not call him Baby at all if it's a problem this really pissed me off. I'm giving up my career to help him now I don't want to work with him or even be in this relationship any more. I'm really upset.
