Would you ever report your spouse for being abusive?

Yes, if my spouse is ever abusive towards me either emotionally or physically, I would report him so that he will face the consequences for his actions. If your spouse is abusive, report them. This cycle of abusive is not going to stop unless you take action.

My hope is that someone can help her to understand that she has a problem so she will desire to seek change and help. Or help the family out because I am out of options.

I don't think I ever have to worry about this, but I would start with talking to them about it, unless the abuse turned physical or created a mental issue within our house that needed professional help.
