How do I as a extrovert, understand the introverted personality better?

i know a little about introverts but not that much and i was hoping some of you can expand my knowledge base a bit

Hmmm so I think it’s something that you truly don’t understand unless you are in fact an introvert just like there’s something’s extroverts do that I just truly don’t understand how/why. So I think it’s just more of a thing where you have to be open minded and when you run into someone that seems to be introverted , you just respect some behaviors they may hold regardless of if you think it’s slightly off putting or whatever.

I'm an introvert and this is how I would explain it. You get charged up by dealing with people and I get worn down by dealing with people. I need time alone to recharge and feel like myself again, while you probably feel like you're going through something by being forced to be alone.

You are probably more likely to spend your time with a bunch of different types of people where as I would be very selective. That's just the shit off the top of my head about it... hope it helps.

1. Introverts prefer their internal world and insights. The pictures they paint in their heads are far more important than the external world.

2. They look at the world through their internal lens and they don't simply see things as they are, but through the filter of their internal lens.

3. It's important to them to integrate their learnings, this results in a lot of quiet time for personal development.

As an ambivert person, I would describe introverts as some who don't need much social interactions and feel better, more comfortable or more energetic by being either alone or with their really small friend groups.
They don't have the need to go out and meet new people and are really happy sitting at home and reading a book or else. Doesn't mean they're insecure but just more reserved and cool too

But basically an introvert recovers by being alone and doing stuff by himself, while large groups of people drain their energy and they get tired.

An extrovert needs constant action around them, while an introvert has enough action inside their head.

Well, as an introvert I'd like to say that I aprecciate when people don't try to make me more chatty or extroverted. I like if u just let me be and observe if I seem like I don't wanna talk☺️

Simply know they don’t care about your presence and they get kick out of being able to focus on their own thoughts alone.
Small talk is enemy for them. Don’t change them.

Well also I have noticed many introverts use their introvertedness to be rude in some ways. Like being an introvert doesn’t exclude you from being a grown adult. I’m saying this as an introvert also.

We thrive in small groups or alone. Being in big groups are uncomfortable for us.
