Why do women hear “I don’t want a relationship” from a man and still try?

Well this is obviously something not specific to gender.. people will not believe people whether it’s good or bad. That’s common. As for why someone will Persue something when there’s a choice that person really doesn’t want anything— I guess bc they are unsure and are willing to make sure.

When someone doesn’t believe a persons words it’s bc the body language does not match the words. Most people are terrible lists and of course many people play games— now, they either don’t want something or do & are lying soooowhy anyone would want to Pursue a liar, is beyond me.

There are people who believe the other is not interested _yet_ they like a challenge, and to be fair, just like falling out of life, people can fall in unexpectedly. Falling in love den make people change their lives. For better or worse.

Often people want a relationship but are scared, so they say they don’t want but what they Mean is they don’t want pain or struggle or whatever. So over time once tryst is won, they may warm up.

In general few people will directly say anything- let alone “ I don’t want a relationship”… having someone believe you do, gives you time to change your mind or get something. People are more more likely to passively hint and then get mad after the fact & say “ I told you I didn’t want anything” after they don’t or do get what they want- when they never actually said that they don’t want anything.

I think for all genders, IF people were in the habit of being honest this stuff would be far less common. But normalizing all these dumb gauges like don’t let them know you like them etc, has everyone questioning when it’s real or when it’s a flirtation.

If men and women both, want people to believe you’re NOT interested then don’t act uninterested when you ARE interested bc it renders both positive and negative signs completely devoid of meaning & useless.

Until everyone stops playing childish Games, no one is going to fully be able to believe anything & I do not blame them 🤷🏻‍♀️

Because they want that man, and think they can change them or get them to fall in love. Sadly it doesn't work though, women need to learn if a guy says that he just doesn't see you in that way and never will no matter the other excuses he tells you. If he wanted you he would take you its just that simple.

I don't know... I've been told women want what they can't have. All I know is I stopped wearing a wedding ring because I got fucking tired of being hit on by random women. It's better to look single and lonely than it be known that I've been married for 14 years. If they know... they start doing stupid shit like trying to seduce me.

Probably the behavior is related to why women don't respect SIMP's or like to cheat on men that are totally devoted to them. It's really beyond me and I'm at the age and position in life to just recognize it and avoid it. People = Shit 9 times outa 10.

Women also are far less likely to "f*ck and leave" like men can (I think @Fuentes would like this question posted) and most women form emotional attachments to men, whether they want to or not. It's not a 'good' or 'bad' thing; it's just how most women seem to be.

To clarify what I meant, women try to persuade men into "falling for her" and "no strings attached" sexual relationships rarely last for women. Usually, the men who only want to f*ck tend to be the tallest and most attractive men too (regular normal men don't get to sleep around like that) and these women would rather have an abusive 9 out of 10 man, than a supportive 6 out of 10 man. Which is why I NEVER feel sorry for them; they fully deserve what they get.

Everyone wants to feel desirable. There aren’t many affirmations of your desirability greater than someone changing who or what they are and how they behave for you. I know a couple, both doctors, love marriage.
He changed after the marriage. He even began beating and cursing their only kid.
She kept on believing that he will change and all. But he did not. The kid is now an engineer but is interested and successful in the music industry. Atill a newcomer though.

They have filed for divorce now. At the age of 50+.
