Why does it sound normal to say, ‘He seeks riches to cope for having no love’ but it sounds odd to say, ‘He seeks love to cope for having no money?

Obviously 🙄, you are poor and without girlfriend. Firstly, that initial statement may sound normal for some but it never happens. The rich 🤑 or in-progress rich guy is either damn lucky or very smooth in his own way. It is likely that she will not know he’s well-to-do either.

i mean it sounds normal to say someone who's really power-hungry to be coping for maybe just having no love no friends in life, and I kinda get that.

but i don't get why its odd to say someone who really wants love and friends is just coping for having no riches/power in life.
