Like more of caring romantic signs you have for that SO, not nasty display of affections or you prefer to keep that for yourself and your partner in private as noone has to know you are dating someone or have a SO, taht is yoru business not the public business. Would you behave the same if that partner or SO is not really a serious partner, you are just dating that person but the relationship is not really serious but you two do hang each other an may even be living together.

For example celebrities or movie stars. I dont know if they do that just for PR committments or stung or what. Like one actor is dating another colleague but they dont want the public to know they are dating or that they even in a relationship (what is wrong about people knowing you love someone, I mean taking aside that person is anotehr actor , it is just a human being anyway), so they are never are seen in public together as a couple, never. For example like awards shows or movie premieres one of them always is alone at those events, they never bring their SO with them to join on the event, as they are like hiding their relationship, they prefer never be seen together. On the other hand when there are photos of them on social media that go viral on a more private scenarios such as private parties with friends or birthdays they are seen together, isn't that contradictory. ALso the paparazzis had caught the couple together on other places but on public events neither one brings the other to be with them.

Why to hide the affection or love you have to another person? Or could be becasue the relationship is not serious even if they had been together for a while and even live together. This happens to a actress and her current beau, who is also an actor they are never

seen together on movie premieres, awards ceremony, they never arrive together as a couple they had been seen together walking on the street and even holding hands. But then at the parties after the ceremonies, the lady is there having fun, drinking and people take photos that later are posted on social media, the actress still want to keep a low profile with her relationship. I would hold hands sometimes and even a short kiss in public with the person I love but I’m more affectionate at home, people usually keep it professional in public and parties or events. At least that’s how I would be if I had someone which I don’t right now

What's considered nasty is very subjective from person to person, culture to culture or even place to place (club vs inside a bus).

I wouldn't mind a brief hug or kiss in public depending on the situation, and at clubs I'm fine with making out and around family, despite it not being considered appropriate I'd continue to probably hold hands and put our arms around each other and stuff because I personally believe it needs to be more normalized.

My boyfriend is a very private guy anf wants to keep his personal life a secret. He doesn't post me on Instagram nor does he kiss me when there are A LOT of people outside. He does hold my hand but not always. He is VERY affectionate when we are alone though and i love it!!

My thoughts exactly is like they are doing something bad right? There is this partricular actress who is like that, she is a very private low key actress in regards of her private life. When she dated another actor in her past she also was a bit of low key but so did he but there were photos of them together out in public but they lasted 4 years. Now she broke up with that colleague last year and noe she is dating antoehr actor but with this new one, she tries to hide her relationshop with him when all the publci knows they are indeed together.
