I am in a similar situation. Ask yourself this though…how is he treating you now? Sometimes people love bomb and then pull away. These people are very toxic and should probably be avoided if you value your sanity

yes i was love bombed for two months then everything decreased (texting, calls, hang outs) then i was forced to break up with him

Red flags means it wasn't meant to be. He was suspicious, sounds to me like you didn't trust you. You're better off without him
