Last year my boyfriend became distant and i had a feeling another woman was involved and ended up going through his phone and found out he had gotten really close to a coworker who he never told me about. They had been flirting and talking for months. A few days before i went through his phone he had deleted their chat so i didn't see much but saw enough to see they were flirting. His reason for deleting their message was because it became innapropiate when she sent him pictures of herself in short dresses eventhough he saved them to his phone.
He has been putting in lots of effort recently and has been leaving his phone with me as he does stuff around his apartment which he never did before, most probably to show he has nothing to hide, however i dont want to snoop through his phone again. I was also planning to move in with him in a few weeks time and felt things were good between us.
But a week ago he casually confessed to me they are still talking as apparently its too hard not to as they work together but its strictly platonic he says. He also told me how he confided in her about our relationship problems which involved her which is a big issue for me as i know she likes him more than a friend.
Im really uncomfortable with this and want to ask him to show me their chat as if its so platonic he shouldn't have a problem showing me right? The only reason i can think of him wanting to talk to her still is because he has feelings for her too.
I've decided if he refuses to show me their chat i will break up with him. Am i being unreasonable?
