Why does my boyfriend threatens to break up after having a good conversation about a future?

This is the 4th time he has done this after a trivial argument he started and I'm getting fed up. The argument was about why I'm pouring 1/2 of a lemon into my cup of tea instead of 1 whole lemon and said I wasn't taking care of myself for that reason. So suddenly he started saying ''How would you like it if I were going to clubs, flirting with women and coming drunk, you wouldn't like that either right''. I said no and he replied ''same thing when you've just poured 1/2 of a lemon''. Then he kept going on and on and threatened to both break up and block me and I keep making too many mistakes.

Just yesterday we had a nice, conversation about a future together, getting married and having a family. Then he would expressed that I'm nearly the perfect woman. I'm confused. How does one go from wanting to marry you in the future (the highest position in a relationship) and considering me nearly perfect to wanting a break-up, which equivalent to getting fired on a job. That seems extreme.

What's going on? I'm still confused on how someone can have a romantic conversation about marriage and kids to suddenly go into a verbal tirade and threatening a break-up along with blocking me too?

Stop entertaining this fool and just break up with him.
He has no real intention on marrying you, he’s just dangling the carrot. Then he’s calling you “nearly the perfect woman” and yanking the carrot away, “I should just break up with you.” It’s all a game to him. It’s not about lemon in your tea, it’s about control. And that bit about ''How would you like it if I were going to clubs, flirting with women and coming drunk, you wouldn't like that either right'' is a promise, not a threat. Fuck him.

I smell the narcissistic vibes there. Later on he can become controlling and manipulative. Don't believe on his words just take it as he is just being moody not even good words, don't believe it. See his actions, trust your feelings then upon that you decide what kind person he is. Not by what he says

I'm going to take a note of what you're saying because his reaction of going from one extreme (wanting kids and marriage, saying I'm nearly perfect) to another (verbal tirades, threatening to break up and block me) doesn't sound normal.

On April 25th, it will be a year of being together. I find this reaction exaggerated to be honest. It's like ever since being with him, I've been stressed out sometimes I feel like avoiding making mistakes he'll go into a verbal tirade and then he'll start threatening to break-up once again

I'm so confused. How can I go from being the almost perfect woman he wants a future with to threatening to break up in just one day or hours after a peaceful conversation? Those are two extremes.

Look I do not like reaching but either he trying to get you to believe something like he is in charge etc or he is hiding something an will fish for any reason to break up with you.
